Requirements
All Community Chorus members must be 18 years or older at the time of performance. Previous choral or performance experience is not required.
*Each community chorus is open for up to 20 singers. Registrations will be closed earlier if capacity is reached.
What to expect
Prepare with fellow local singers and online tutorials to practice in your own pace for a performance alongside Opera Queensland's artists at your chosen performance of the regional tour of
Lady Sings the Maroons
.
To perform with the OQ cast, you will be required to sign a volunteer agreement ahead of the performance.
On the evening before the performance or on the performance day, your Regional Community Chorus will rehearse with members of the cast to prepare for their moment in the spotlight. Exact rehearsal times will be communicated closer to the event.
