Administrative information for the Research Office
Faculty of Medicine anticipates a limited budget to fund 20 x 4 week scholarships, fully funded by Faculty of Medicine (50%) and UQ Employability (50%). We expect that demand for projects will exceed this budget.

If you have extra funds available, you can have as many extra projects you like if you can fully fund them at $1500 per scholarship.

Will the student require the following:
Your answers will allow us to add specific requirements that the scholar will need to meet such as working with children check, Student IP and confidentiality and Vaccine Preventable Disease Screening.

Students will be paid the scholarship in one lump-sum payment, in week two of the program, subject to the Supervisor confirming the student’s satisfactory participation and progress.
Note: Should demand exceed supply and this project cannot be funded in the Faculty/UQ Employability budget, we will ask you if you are able to fund this project from your own resources.

If this happens, we will ask for a cost centre and budget holder to confirm that funds are available.
