MUSIC AND SENSORY PLAY SESSIONS:
The Maggie Moo Music Toowoomba program runs during state term times with special events planned during the holiday periods. Maggie Moo Music Toowoomba is taught by Kylie an experienced qualified Early Childhood Teacher who has over 27 years experience teaching children of all ages. The Maggie Moo Music Toowoomba programs are linked to the Australian Early Years Learning Framework which is the Australian curriculum taught in Early Childhood Programs.
Children will be exposed to school readiness skills such as taking turns, sharing with others, following directions from a teacher, and working in a group environment. Kylie is also a mother of three and also wanted to offer a flexible option for families that are unable to come for the whole term so there is a PAYG casual walk in option. Please speak to Kylie if you have any questions about the program or payment options.
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
We aim to provide materials and projects that are safe and suitable for all age groups, however it's important that we know if your child has any allergies (food or otherwise) to ensure that the program is appropriate for them.
It's imperative that your child is supervised throughout the session which is also a great way for you to be involved with your child's enjoyment and learning while they create, play and make a mess!

Our Venue:
We have a wonderful venue at Groom Park Hall (104 Neil St) for our classes. Groom Park Hall has parking out the front of the hall, along Neil Street and on Lawrence St too. Please check our map for directions.
There is a ramp for easy access into the hall for prams and plenty of room inside for prams to be parked out of the way. There is accessible toilets and heating/fans at both locations to cater for the changing weather in Toowoomba. We also have access to the hall kitchen so you are welcome to store bottles etc in the fridge. At Groom Park Hall enjoy the adjoining park which has ample of activities to keep the children busy whilst you catch up with Maggie Moo friends before or after class. It even has a bike park!
COVID 19 INFORMATION
All staff have completed the Covid 19 Infection Control Training and are up to date with their flu immunisations. Maggie Moo Music Toowoomba will abide and implement the safety protocols as set out by the Queensland Government and we have developed a Covid 19 Safety Plan which are detailed below. We have outlined the requirements for all participants to follow when attending any of our sessions.
On Arrival please follow the entry and exit arrows into the venue and put your items on the seats as indicated by your teacher. Each session will have their own area.
Social distancing:
We all need to follow government guidelines and maintain a 1.5m distance from others. We will have spots set out to make this easier. Please be mindful when chatting by maintaining social distancing - 1.5m between adults.
Smaller Groups/Additional Visitors:
To ensure we can maintain social distancing we're reducing the maximum participant number in any session to 20 adults/children. If you would like to bring additional people to the hall you will need to let us know so we can make sure they will be allowed to attend dependent on how many people are attending that day.
Sickness/Absence
If you are not well or your little moo'ver is unwell you will be unable to attend. It is vital that you stay home if any one in your family has symptoms of feeling unwell. Please sms Kylie on 0418151428 to let us know you are unable to attend your session. An online session will be provided for you if you are unable to attend another session for that week. Staff who are sick will also not be able to take the session and where possible another staff member will take your class, however if no one is available the class will be cancelled and an online class will be arranged for that day.
Good Hygiene And Props:
We will have hand sanitiser on site and there is also hand basins with soap for you to wash your hands and your child/rens hands on arrival and departure. To minimise any risk we will have less props than you may be use to. For the props we do use these will be given to you for individual use and cannot be passed to other participants to use. Props will be collected at the end of the session for thorough cleaning before use in the next days session. Any Sensory play will be given in individual containers for your child to enjoy and you can dispose of these at the end of the session. All cushions will be cleaned on site and the area thoroughly cleaned before the next session begins.
Even with these changes we will still be having lots of educational fun and I will do everything I can to keep your little ones safe but I do need your help to follow the rules (& best practices) together.
